Able Engraving and Design was established in July 1986 by the present owner Mr. A. Douglas. Our engraving company is based in a 1200 sq. ft. light industrial unit on the Surrey / Sussex border in the UK. We provide a nationwide engraving service and are able to undertake any work in stainless steel, brass, bronze, aluminium, acrylic, 3 ply laminate (Traffolyte) and almost any other engravable material.
Along with the owner we employ three highly skilled
engravers with a combined experience in engraving of
over 70 years. We cover all aspects of traditional machine
and hand engraving as well as utilising the latest computer
controlled machinery for orders which require complex
wording or logos as well as larger quantities, or multiple
runs; very useful when a fast turn round is required.
We have been creating engraved nameplates through chemical etching and laser etching for many years and as a result we have a wide client base consisting of the following:
